Large Older Vintage Guerlain L’Heure Bleue French Perfume Bottle, Frosted Stopper, Goutte Flacon, Nice Label & Revenue Stamp
Material: Clear & Frosted Glass
Glass Maker: Pochet et du Courval (signed)
This oval or tear dropped shaped bottle was made for a number of years and held various fragrances. This particular bottle is an older example, dating to the 1920's or 1930's, as it features the old style label, as well as Guerlain and Made In France information impressed on bottle base, which was discontinued in the 40's.
Perfume bottle label indicates fragrance is L’Heure Bleue Eau de Toilette de Guerlain, Paris. Original Revenue Stamp is also present under the base, along with another sticker reading; 89 % Alcoolique.
The bottle is in very nice vintage condition. Careful examination revealed no chips, cracks, flecks or other problems to either bottle or stopper. The paper label is the old, original style, featuring the two dolphins known as Etiquette Dolphin. The desirable Revenue Stamp also remains in place under the base. The stopper is the original frosted and ground example, purportedly fashioned in the likeness of two cockle shells. It is firmly in place and can be removed easyly.
