Bichara

"Nirvana" (1921)
Established by Mallarme Bichara (born in Beirut) first in Rouen and Dieppe then at 10 rue de la Chaussee-d’Antin, Paris in 1896; called himself as ‘The Syrian Perfumer’.
Famous label representing a man pulling a woman by the hair. On the label you can read: "Comment Bichara attrapa la Fortune dans les ruines de Baalbeck".

Bichara also produced fine hennas for the hair, This is probably how Bichara became wealthy.
